Our Advanced Acidophilus provides 10 billion active cultures from a combination of Lactobacillus acidophilus and B. lactis to ensure a favorable balance of intestinal bacteria.

 

Probiotics support a favorable environment for duodenum-jejunum nutrient absorption, encourage gram-positive Lactobacilli intestinal balance and promote the health of the intestine. The mechanisms through which Acidophilus acts have been attributed to factors such as production of the heat-stable protein Lactacin F, bio-enzymatic lactic acid production, acid-resistance in the alimentary tract, and positive effects on fecal enzyme concentrations.
